Meta: Facebook, Instagram and Threads – The OAG uses Meta, which is a third-party social media provider. Any personal information you provide through Meta’s social media platforms is not hosted on our server and is subject to Meta’s terms of service and privacy policies. Aggregate information from and about public posts may be extracted and stored by the OAG for the purpose of improving our communication services.
Twitter – The OAG uses Twitter, which is a third-party social media provider. Any personal information you provide through Twitter is not hosted on our server and is subject to Twitter’s terms of service and privacy policies. Aggregate information from and about public tweets may be extracted and stored by the OAG for the purpose of improving our communication services.
Youtube – The OAG uses Youtube, which is a third-party social media provider. Any personal information you provide through Youtube is not hosted on our server and is subject to Youtube’s terms of service and privacy policies. Aggregate information from and about public comments may be extracted and stored by the OAG for the purpose of improving our communication services.
Hootsuite – The OAG uses Hootsuite, which is a third-party platform that allows us to manage our social media. Any private message you send to us through Twitter or Facebook is also viewable through Hootsuite. 5. Information Sharing
This website is covered by B.C.’s Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act. As per this act, we do not share your personal information with government agencies or other organizations without your permission unless:
